JUST RIGHT CARBINES WITH 'A Cat' Stocks and Pinned 7 Round Magazine.
The big selling points for me though are that this make of carbine is built to use Glock magazines and all the standard AR15 'bling' accessories of sights and lights - plus the barrel comes threaded for attachment of a silencer.
.
There are many Youtube clips of the JRC and written reviews - and they do seem to be consistently positive but there are observations that early models used barrels that gave problems.
Could be a winner for IPSC range use and small game shooting. They will cost around two grand plus to set-up in New Zealand - which is not cheap - but check-out what people have been paying for old Marlin Camp Carbines and Rugers in 9mm or .45ACP.
The fully-convertible L/H - R/H function has to be a winner for lefties - I initially thought that the FRS-15 A-Cat "dog-leg" 'New York' stock with the free-standing buffer-tube was really ugly and awful - but the more that I think about it - the more practical it seems it might be - especially when doing a strip-down service clean and lube..
- Now - maybe a reflex red-dot sight and a flip-to-the-side 3x Multiplier mounted on the flat-top Picatinny rail and a silencer on the barrel .. **BLINGO**
So - what do you think Santa-Clause ?
