'Alien' Pistol Coming:

There is advanced information doing the on-line rounds with 'leaked' photos and hints about a new semi-auto promised to arrive in 2019.

Laugo Arms are based in Prague, Czechoslovakia (aka Czech Republic) and the excitement is that this developing ALIEN pistol is claiming to have the lowest ever fixed BORE AXIS and stationary sights - giving fast repeat shots.

Technology used is claimed to be an action that has recoil spring above the barrel and functions by delayed recoil via a gas piston - plus an inverted striker that is also mounted above the bore & chamber level.

This innovative combination of features results in "no muzzle flip" and fast recovery of sight picture / muzzle alignment.

There does seem truly to be "nothing new in the world" as this low barrel bore line with the recoil spring mounted above was also a feature of the FN Browning Model 1900 pistol known as Browning Number One, because it was John Moses Browning's first pistol design.

This low bore line is a proven design so it should work well for them ... although Browning's early design did economically used that recoil spring to also power the striker / firing pin.
