The excellent 'KIWI GUN BLOG' has managed, after appeals to the Ombudsman, - to get some answers from the Police... Result:
Only one gun used in a hundred firearms crimes here was legally owned by a Firearms Licence Holder.
and:
Only two guns out of one hundred weapons used in crimes were classed as 'MSSA's. (so called "assault weapons")
- Good to get to the truth eventually eh.
