Was Kennedy Mystery Bullet a Sniper SABOT Round?

Mystery Bullet reported by Kennedy A&E nurse.

On 13th November 2013, Radio New Zealand National broadcast an interview with Phyllis Hall who was present at Dallas PARKLAND HOSPITAL when President Kennedy was rushed in following the motorcade shooting on November 22 1963. Nurse Hall, then 28y.o. - now 78 – has reported and detailed how she was present when the injured were admitted and although she was on her lunch break visiting the A&E Dept, she worked on President Kennedy and found a bullet lodged between his ear and shoulder. - She says this bullet was taken away and never presented in evidence in the four subsequent inquiries.

Phyllis Hall says that she was familier with gun-shot wounds from her work and had never seen such a bullet previously. She describes this bullet as being about one and a half inches long with a pointed tip and a rounded base – having no "blunting" or damage, nor any "scarring" around the shell from where it had been fired". Mrs Halls description on Radio New Zealand sounds very like a 'Boat Tail Spitzer' used for long range shooting. - She further stated that this bullet bore 'no resemblance to bullets later shown in evidence in investigations.'

Mrs Hall says that she is a 'big believer in the conspiracy theories.' - There is video of an USA television interview you can view on You Tube.

WIKIPEDIA has an excellent and comprehensive page titled Timeline of the John F Kennedy Assassination - referring to reports of three shots being heard by witnesses and the "ZEPRUDER FILM" that records the shootings.

Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with 'murder with malice' of Police Officer J D Tippet, and four hours later he was charged with the murder of President Kennedy.

Two days later - On November 24 Oswald was shot and killed in the basement of Dallas Police H.Q. by local nightclub owner Jack Ruby (full name Jacob Leon Rubenstein, 'known' to both Police and the Mafia) - using a .38" revolver. - Ruby was tried and found guilty of this murder but was due a retrial on appeal when he died of a pulminary embolism due to lung cancer.

I try to keep an open mind about these events – but I am aware that some records that were due to be de-classified and released have been re-classified. - I also make no claim to be a ballistics expert – but Nurse Hall describing a Boat Tail Spitzer Bullet not having any marks from firing – suggests to me that this projectile might (or might not) have come from a saboted round such as a SLAP (Saboted Light Armour Piercing) M903 .50"Cal round – built with a polymer sabot or shoe - as used "To maximise the engagement range and effectiveness on target." - perhaps such as that from a .50"Cal sniper rifle?

- Oswalds rifle recorded as matched to the killing - an Italian 6.5x52mm Mannlicher-Carcano M98/38 bolt action, his diary, revolver, bullet fragments & the limo screen are stored in the National Archives at Lenaxa, Kansas.
