Fukushima Daiichi NUCLEAR MELTDOWN March 2011:

Just over eight years ago a massive earthquake and tsunami inflicted major damage to 6 Japanese nuclear fission reactors. In the following weeks three of these reactors MELTED DOWN (Plants 1, 2, 3) causing serious leakage of nuclear materials, hydrogen-air explosions, and releases of harmful radiation.

- The following year - Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), admitted that they had failed to meet necessary basic safety requirements such as risk assessment, preparing for containing collateral damage, and developing evacuation plans .. for fear of inviting lawsuits or protests against its nuclear plants.

- Do we ordinary citizens understand that we are not being protected from such corporate profiteers?

- Are ordinary family folk aware that their governments have responded to the threat of international terrorism by REDUCING LAW ENFORCEMENT resources - recruitment & funding? .. e.g The UK has reduced it's police numbers by 21,000 serving officers.

Governments worldwide are spending TRILLIONS of tax dollars on WMD - Weapons Of Mass Destruction - capable of exterminating whole populations (US & Russia between them have 13,400 nuclear warheads) - while passing legislation to disarm law abiding working families and stop them defending themselves from attacks.

- Are working folk aware that "their" government administrations have chosen NOT to build adequate housing or to provide homes for their increasing populations - because to do so would lower the profits of property developers and landlords?

You might think that it is time to WAKE UP and get political. Think about who you vote for. - Our school children are starting to march and protest government inaction ...
