NZ "Semi-Auto Rifle" BAN:

When Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern outlined her speedy actions to "freeze" all sales of military style semi-autos and "assault rifles" by Order in Council I was reasonably accepting - because realistically .. you'd have to expect politicians to strongly react to the awful massacre of Christchurch family members. - New Zealand is in shock and mourning ..
Fifty family victims shot dead, forty-two dreadfully injured.

- by a white supremacist terrorist from overseas.

- BUT I have now heard the president of the Police Association Detective Inspector Cahill seeming to celebrate his victory over licensed shooters on air today - claiming that we are "a radical gun lobby spewing hate & vitriol on social media" - & the source of weapons used by criminals

- and forecasting his plans for hugely increasing costs of security, shortened 3 year licence periods, registration of all firearms, import restrictions etc. - In reality he is promoting punishing deterrents to lawful firearms ownership in New Zealand. - Cahill seeks to make legal licensed gun owners PARIAHS within society while taking no action against weapon using violent criminals.

This senior police officer is focused on attacking lawful shooters while failing to suggest any ideas to address armed criminal gangs and terrorism.

Police and law makers need to be aware of  UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES.

Shooters must immediately form and fund a united national association to defend our rights before it's too late .. Police are making law instead of enforcing it.

Present day 'for profit' society is broken and producing far too many antisocial criminals and crazed scumbags - our systems of parenting, education, healthcare, law enforcement, social welfare, employment and corrections all need increased funding and urgent improvements that would result in a better quality of developing citizens.
& JUSTICE
